As we continue to make improvements to increase our efficiency and better serve our customers, we are pleased to announce the following changes:
1. Our dealer headquarters is now located at our 13-acre Shady Side Yacht Yard. This will staff our accounting, human resource and marketing functions.
2. We are committed to expand Shady Side into your premier Yacht Yard for the Annapolis area with complete boat and yacht services. This includes a fiberglass repair shop, bow and stern thruster installations, swim platform installations, major engine overhauls, running gear repairs, electronic installations, year round storage facility, haul-outs to 70 feet and a new paint shop is being built.
3. In Chester we will continue to provide high quality boat sales, service and parts with a factory-trained staff. We have added BK Millaway to our Service team. BK has a solid background in the marine industry and will be responsible for the daily operations. Our 25-ton travel lift can haul-up to 40 feet and our 3-acres allow room for storage and service for all brands of boats and motors.
4. We welcome back Tom Turner to our Service Operations. Tom is one of the most experienced Master Mechanics in Maryland with 15 years in the marine industry, including marina positions with Hinckley and Grande yachts. Kim Chaplin has relocated to Shady Side to manage our new centralized scheduling of all customer service work.
5. Our service staff is continually trained on all brands, with 4 technicians, now assigned to travel to our customers to service boats in the Chesapeake Bay area including Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Northwest Maryland. For example, Mike Warfs primary responsibility will be covering over-the-road dockside repairs in the Baltimore area. He has over 20 years experience in the marine industry and is a factory-certified technician.
6. Our award-winning sales team for Sea Rays, Trade-Ins, and Brokerage Boats will continue at both locations.
